Martin Gunst

Martin was born and raised in the sunny San Francisco Bay Area, and has lived in cloudy Vancouver, BC for the last seven years in favour of the tremendous outdoor opportunities and open spaces to be found up north. Cooking has been a lifelong passion for Martin, though he has found time to get a degree in philosophy and economics and to own and operate a bicycle-based organic produce delivery business for several years. When he's not baking sourdough or making the best omelette you've ever had, you'll likely find him hiking, biking, or skiing somewhere in the wilds of the West, and enjoying every minute of it. Martin eagerly looking forward to his first season cooking at NEH.

Kim McIntyre

Bartender

Kimberly is an East Coast girl who ventured to BC 'for a year' almost a decade ago. Kim's an adventurous girl who fell in love with the outdoor playground of the Northwest. She does however still 'summer' in the East where she spends much of her time on the water sailing. By day, Kim works at Northwest Community College. When not working, Kim can generally be found at the gym, the skihill, the lake or cheering for the Canucks . This is Kim's third season at NEH and she looks forward to many great adventures with you all this year.

Diana Christianson

Lodge Assistant

Diana grew up in Calgary skiing and playing in the Rockies of Alberta. Snowboards and skis are not the only thing Diana knows how to ride as horses, snowmobiles, and mountain bikes also top her list. It wasn't long before she traded in her red Alberta license plate for a blue British Columbia plate and has never looked back. Her passion for the mountains and the adventures they provide have kept her living and working in them almost her whole life. This is her first season in Terrace and with Northern Escape Heli-Skiing.  She is excited to join the team and is looking forward to the new experiences the move will bring.

Teresa Robinson

Massage Therapist

Teresa was born and raised on Kaien Island, in the city of Prince Rupert. She learned that the Healing Art of Massage was one of her gifts when members of her family asked for a shoulder and upper back massage after a day of hard work. She has practiced and studied this healing art since that discovery. She began exploring Canada and United States, always coming back to Terrace, B.C. and as a result has decided to make it her home town. She loves this magnificent country side and she is very proud to call Northern B.C. home. Teresa is a third generation musician, and loves learning the art of dance and learning many other genres of knowledge and considers herself a student of life. She enjoys meeting and working with people, as well as setting and accomplishing goals with them and individually. Teresa loves to support others in de-stressing, hence, being a massage practitioner and joining Northern Escape Heli Skiing.

Larissa Dombrowski

Larissa is born and raised in Victoria BC, where she grew up outdoors in nature hiking, biking and camping on Vancouver Island. The early years were spent tree planting up and down the BC Coast while wintering in Whistler BC and the South Chilcotin Mtns. Eventually the call of The North came where today Larissa spends her time between Haida Gwaii, Wales Island in the the summer at a Fishing Lodge and Northern Escape for the winters. In her spare time Larissa enjoys travelling, photography, art, culture and living a simple life in the elements of nature.

Lee-Anne Critchley

Breakfast Server

Lee-Anne is an easy going northern girl, born and raised in Terrace. She loves the fresh snow fresh air and mountains up here. She loves to rip on her snowboard, mountain bike and wakeboard. Loves fishing and even shoots archery for fun. This will be Lee-Anne's second winter with Northern Escape Heli-Skiing and she's looking forward to another great winter!

Jody Kucharyshen

House Keeping

Jody was born and raised in Terrace, BC, but her parents roots are from Saskatchewan.  From the flat lands to the beautiful mountains, what a contrast! You can find Jody fishing or camping with her family in the summer and curling in the winter.

This will be her third season with NEH and says she looks forward to another great season!

Rachel Scodane

House Keeping

Rachel is a First Nations mother of 3 beautiful children. She came from the Gitxsan Nation in Hazelton B.C. and has lived in the Terrace and surrounding area all her life. She is an outgoing person and loves to keep busy. She currently resides in Kitimat B.C. and loves to meet new people and try new things.

Josh DeCario

Dishwasher

Josh lives in Terrace with his parents and younger sister. He is in grade 9 at Skeena Middle School. In his free time, he likes being outdoors snowboarding at Shames, mountain biking Terrace Mountain, hanging out with friends or watching movies.  Josh says he is excited about working at NEH this winter and meeting new people.
