Northern Escape Heli Skiing in Terrace, BC, is one of the easiest lodges to get to in the heliski industry. Fly directly into Terrace with only a two-hour flight from Vancouver International Airport. Most international guests are enjoying dinner at the lodge the same day they leave the comforts of their home. Our lodge has a remote feel and setting, yet is located just a few minutes outside the city of Terrace along the banks of the Skeena River. Terrace is the business hub of the north and the regional airport has recently been upgraded with a modern radar landing system. This helps keep the airport open and the flights on schedule which ultimately reduces delays and cancelled flights. In comparison with other ski lodges, you will likely save two days of travel time on your trip as well as extra hotel and associated costs. In this day and age, time is money!

When you arrive in Terrace, you are greeted by Northern Escape’s friendly staff and whisked off to the lodge with an easy twenty minute drive; just sit back, relax and enjoy the sights. On the last day of your package, you ski/ride a full day then head back to the lodge to get cleaned up and have dinner before you head to the airport. With the accessibility of Northern Escape Heli Skiing, you are guaranteed a full day of skiing/boarding everyday of your package! When departing, once in Vancouver, some guests catch a red eye home while others spend the night at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel where they receive Northern Escape's preferred rates.
